Gov. Mutfwang Reshuffles Cabinet, See Full List

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has reshuffled his cabinet, assigning new portfolios to the 20 Commissioners in the State Executive Council.

The reshuffle followed the swearing-in of three new Commissioners into the cabinet, namely Hon. Ishaku Maren Yobo, Prof. Gloria Samuel Karuri and Comrade Prince Miaphen.

Maren represents Bokkos, Prof. Karuri represents Bassa, while Miaphen is from Qua’anpan Local Government Area.

Under the new arrangement, Peter Nyam Gai from Jos North takes charge of Agriculture, while Philemon Daffi San of Mangu is assigned the Ministry of Attorney General and Justice.

Hon. Ishaku Maren of Bokkos will oversee Budget and Planning, while Hon. Musa Ibrahim Ashoms from Jos East takes charge of Commerce and Industry.

Prof. Gloria Samuel Karuri of Bassa is assigned Education, while Hon. Joshua Laven Ubandoma of Langtang North will oversee Environment. Mrs. Dongkum Grace Shwarta of Pankshin takes charge of Finance.

Dr. Nicholas Baamlong from Qua’anpan retains Health, while Arc. Sylvester Dongtoe of Shendam is assigned Housing and Urban Development. Dr. Mrs. Kacholom Gang of Riyom will oversee Humanitarian Affairs.

Rt. Hon. Joyce Ramnap Mni from Langtang South takes charge of Information, while Mr. Peter I. Gwom of Barkin Ladi is assigned Lands, Survey and Town Planning.

Hon. Samson Bugama of Kanke will oversee Livestock and Fisheries, while Hon. Ephraim Usman from Kanam takes charge of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Nyalum M. Salihu of Wase is assigned Science and Technology, while Mr. Jatau Davou Gyang from Jos South takes charge of Transport. Hon. Bashir Lawandi Datti of Jos North will oversee Water Resources and Energy.

Mrs. Caroline Panglang from Mikang takes charge of Women Affairs, while Dr. Cletus Shuruk of Pankshin is assigned Works. Comrade Prince Miaphen of Qua’anpan will oversee Youth and Sports Development.

The reshuffle affects key sectors of the state administration and is expected to reposition the cabinet for improved coordination and effective service delivery across Plateau State.
