NWFL: Super Falcons goalkeeper departs Abia Angels

Super Falcons goalkeeper Fatima Oloko has left Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, side Abia Angels.

Oloko announced her departure in a farewell message on X.

She thanked the Umuahia-based club for helping her improve her game.

“Leaving isn’t easy when you’ve built something this special,” Oloko wrote in her farewell message.

“To my club: thank you for shaping me, pushing me, and making me better. This isn’t goodbye forever — it’s ‘see you later.’ Go do great things. I’m proud of us.”

Oloko featured regularly for Abia Angels in the NWFL last season.

She played a pivotal role in the club’s qualification for the NWFL Super Six playoffs last term.
