The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, results of underage candidates for viewing.
JAMB has however made it clear that the result does not automatically qualify a candidate for admission.
It can only be used for admission purposes by candidates who meet the conditions for exceptional admission.
The conditions include a minimum UTME score of 320 and at least 80 per cent in relevant subjects in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.

Here is how to check your result:
Step 1: Use the same phone number you registered with for the UTME.
Step 2: Send the word “RESULT” as a text message.
Step 3: Send it to either 55019 or 66019.
Step 4: Your result will be sent back to you via SMS shortly after.
