Outspoken Plateau State cleric, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has pledged to take the Nigerian government before the International Criminal Court (ICC) over what he described as the continued killings of Christians in Plateau State and other parts of northern Nigeria.

Rev. Dachomo, who serves as the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, made the declaration in a post on his social media page. He revealed that he had already compiled a detailed record of Christians allegedly murdered by Islamic extremists and Fulani bandits, as well as churches destroyed since 2010. According to him, the documents will be submitted to both the ICC and the United States government for possible intervention.

The cleric accused both the Nigerian government and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) of maintaining silence in the face of the mass killings, particularly in the Middle Belt region. He lamented that their denial and inaction had only worsened the crisis and emboldened the perpetrators.

To support his legal action, Rev. Dachomo disclosed that several concerned Nigerians and international donor organizations have begun contributing funds. These donations, he said, would aid in pursuing justice at the ICC, assisting families of victims, and sustaining his ongoing humanitarian initiatives.
