Cristiano Ronaldo Tops Forbes List as 2024’s Highest-Paid Athlete

Cristiano Ronaldo has once again claimed the title of the world’s highest-paid athlete, topping Forbes’ 2024 list for the third consecutive year.

The 40-year-old Al Nassr striker reportedly earned a staggering £206.6 million ($275 million) over the past year, surpassing his 2023 earnings by £11.2 million.

A significant portion of his income — approximately £177 million — comes from his salary at Saudi club Al Nassr, which he joined in December 2022 following his departure from Manchester United.

He is ahead of NBA’s Steph Curry and British boxer Tyson Fury.

Ronaldo’s longtime rival Lionel Messi drops to fifth place from third place in 2024.
