Plateau Govt Relaxes Jos North Curfew to 7PM–5AM from April 15

In view of satisfactory improvement on the security situation in Jos North LGA and environs, the Plateau State Government, in consultation with security agencies, wishes to further relax the curfew imposed in the wake of recent disturbances.

Consequently, as from Wednesday, 15th April 2026, curfew hours will be between 7 p.m to 5 a.m. Therefore, citizens within the area affected by curfew are advised to adhere strictly to the stipulated restricted period.

The government of Plateau State acknowledges the cooperation demonstrated by citizens towards achieving the present level of security. Government urges citizens to sustain the spirit as we collectively work towards restoring normalcy to Jos North and Plateau State at large.

Furthermore, as the government strives to ensure the safety of everyone, citizens are also called upon to report any untoward behaviour to security agencies.
