Transfer: Coventry City confirm permanent deal for Onyeka

Coventry City have confirmed Frank Onyeka will join the club on a permanent transfer from Brentford, Completesports.com reports.

Onyeka moved to the CBS Arena on loan from Brentford in January.

An obligation to make the deal permanent if Coventry City secured promotion to the Premier League was included in the contract.

Coventry will pay €9m for the Nigeria international.

Onyeka has registered one goal and one assist in 14 Championship appearances for the Sky Blues.

The 28-year-old has been nominated for Coventry City’s Goal of the Season award.

Frank Lampard’s side will face Watford in their final game of the season.
