AFCON 2027: Super Eagles to begin journey with Madagascar showdown

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will begin their quest for a place at the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations against Madagascar, DAILY POST reports.

Éric Chelle’s side will host the Barea at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, 26 September at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium,Uyo.

The Super Eagles will  travel to face the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau three days later for a matchday two encounter.

Co-hosts Taifa Stars of Tanzania  will be their opponent for matchday three, and four.

Nigeria will be guests of the Taifa Stars in Dar es Salaam on matchday three, before hosting the East Africans in Uyo on Saturday, 11 November.

The Super Eagles will conclude their qualifying campaign in March  2027 with an away, and home game against Madagascar, and Guinea-Bissau.
