Philip Otele has shared his excitement after making his debut for the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.

Otele featured in the Super Eagles’ 2-2 draw against Al-Nashama of Jordan on Tuesday night.

The winger replaced Frank Onyeka in the 89th minute of the encounter.

The Hamburg star alongside Emmanuel Fernandez, and Yira Collins Sor all made their debuts for the Super Eagles during the four-nation invitational tournament.

Otele said it was a proud moment for him and his family.

“For me, it was a dream come true. We always play football to represent the national team, so I always wanted to play for Nigeria, and it was a big moment for me and my family,” Otele told the Super Eagles media.

He joined Hamburg on loan from Swiss club FC Basel in January.
