Maduka Okoye has reacted to Udinese’s stalemate with Como, DAILY POST reports.

Okoye put up an impressive performance in the keenly contested encounter.

The 26-year-old was initially doubtful for the game after sustaining a thigh injury on international duty last week.

The goalkeeper, however, recovered in time to earn a spot in the starting.

Okoye made a number of key saves in the game to help Udinese halt Como’s winning steak.

He reflected on his performance in the thrilling contest.

“I’m happy with the clean sheet, but especially with the point. They were strong; it wasn’t easy, but we worked hard during the week and were ready,” he told the club’s official website.
