‎The Executive Chairman of Jos South Local Government Area, Hon. Silas Patrick, has reinforced his administration’s commitment to grassroots security with the commissioning of 40 motorcycles and a newly established Police Outpost in Du.

‎Speaking at the event, Hon. Patrick said the motorcycles will enhance mobility for security operatives, enabling faster response to incidents in rural and hard-to-reach communities. The new outpost in Du is expected to improve police presence and coordination in the area, working alongside local vigilante groups and community leaders.

‎“This initiative is about making Jos South safer for residents, farmers, and traders. Security is the foundation for peace and development, and we will continue to invest in it,” he stated.

‎The commissioning was attended by security chiefs, traditional rulers, and community stakeholders, who commended the chairman’s proactive approach to tackling crime and maintaining order.
