Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, has promised that his team will put up a good performance in their final game of the season.

The Solid Miners have nothing left to fight for in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after missing out on a continental ticket.

The Lafia club will play for pride in their last game of the season against Barau FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

“I am glad that my wards have improved tremendously from their first-leg clash, even though Plateau United gave us a fight for our money, but it was a great match,” Mangut told the club’s media.

“We will fight to the last phase of the league campaign.”

Nasarawa United currently occupy fifth position on the NPFL table with 56 points.
