The Opta SuperComputer has predicted that Spain will win the 2026 World Cup.

La Roja are the current European champions and have been tipped by many pundits to become world champions.

De Le Fuentes’ men are in Group H along with debutants Cape Verde, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.

Opta has given Spain a 16.0% chance of winning the World Cup, while France are in second with 12.9%.

England are in third place with a 10.8% probability of winning it for the first time since 1966.

The tournament kicks off Thursday night with Mexio, one of the co-hosts taking on South Africa.
