Police recruitment: PSC releases names of successful applicants

The Police Service Commission, PSC has released the names of successful applicants for the recruitment of 50,000 officers into the Nigeria Police Force.

This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Head, Protocol and Public Relations of PSC, Torty Njoku Kalu

According to the statement, the release followed the successful conclusion of a “comprehensive, inclusive, equitable and transparent recruitment exercise conducted in collaboration with major stakeholders including the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Character Commission, Ministry of Police Affairs, States Career and Counseling Departments and the Police Community Relations Committee”.

The commission advised all candidates, who participated in the recently concluded written examination to login to the official recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their recruitment status.

The statement added that the portal will be opened by 12:00am, Thursday, 16th July, 2026.

“Successful candidates will also receive email and SMS notifications on the email addresses and phone numbers they provided during the initial application.

“The successful candidates are expected to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates and times to be communicated in due course for medical examination and documentation,” it added.
