Why I can’t advise Tinubu on TV

Former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, has declared that he can’t advise President Bola Tinubu on national television.

Fashola explained that he has Tinubu’s ears and is open to seeing the president when he needs to advise him on any issue.

He made the disclosure while appearing on TVC’s Beyond The Headlines.

According to the former governor: “I don’t speak to President Tinubu from the television. I have his ears, and when I need to see him, I have advised him on a few things, and I think we must keep that channel open.

“It’s not my intention to advise him on television, you can’t be shouting at somebody whose ears you have.”
