Transfer: ‘It’s an honour’ – Lukaku speaks after leaving Napoli for new club

Belgium striker, Romelu Lukaku, has expressed happiness after leaving Napoli to join Fenerbahce.

Lukaku, 33, signed a two-year deal with the Turkish Super Lig side on Wednesday.

In a message to Fenerbahce fans after joining the club, Lukaku saiid, “It’s an honour and a privilege to be ‌joining your club, to join this club with a wonderful history.

“I want to thank the coach for the trust and the belief in me as a man, first ‌of all and also for my qualities as a football player. I am fit, 100 per cent ready to go.”

Lukaku has played for Chelsea, Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan in the past.
