Transfer: Former Flying Eagles winger set to join Saudi club Al-Qadsiah

Saudi club, Al-Qadsiah, have reached full agreement with Bundesliga outfit, RB Leipzig, for Sani Suleiman.

According to transfer expert, Rudi Galetti, the deal is worth between €9m and €10m, including bonuses.

Talks over personal terms are ongoing with Suleiman.

Sky Bet Championship club West Ham United also pushed to sign the talented winger but Al-Qadsiah accelerated talks with Leipzig.

The 19-year-old linked up with Leipzig from Slovakian club AS Trenčín in January.

Suleiman registered five goals and five assists in 50 appearances across all competitions for AS Trenčín.

The youngster however failed to make a competitive appearance for Leipzig with his progress affected by constant injuries.

On the international scene, Suleiman was part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad to the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
