Gov. Mutfwang Approves Appointment of Commission Members, Senior Special Assistant, Liaison Officers

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the appointment of new commission members, a Senior Special Assistant and liaison officers as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery in the state.

The appointments are also aimed at consolidating the administration’s governance structure and ensuring effective implementation of government policies and programmes across the state.

The newly approved appointments include Rt. Hon. Titus Alams as Chairman of the House of Assembly Service Commission.

Mrs. Sarah Buge was appointed Executive Secretary of the Plateau Water Sector Regulatory Commission, while Mrs. Felicia Raymond Dabo was appointed Commissioner II, Local Government Service Commission.

Hon. Kenpiya Best was appointed Senior Special Assistant on School Feeding Programme.

The governor also approved the appointment of Emmanuel Nyam Pate as Liaison Officer for Jos East.

Other appointments include Bldr. Moses Danang, Liaison Officer, Qua’an Pan North; Longji Kefas Kabang, Liaison Officer, Mangu North East; and Patience Danjuma, Liaison Officer, Barkin Ladi.

Hon. Yusha’u Abubakar Mazadu was appointed Liaison Officer for Jos North North.

According to the statement from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the State, the appointments are part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the machinery of government and enhance institutional effectiveness.

The new appointees are expected to support the implementation of government policies and programmes and improve engagement between the state government and communities across the various local government areas.
