Paris Saint-Germain want to extend Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s contract before the Ballon d’Or announcement.
According to L’Equipe, this is to avoid more difficult negotiations if he wins the award.
Talks have been ongoing between Kvaratskhelia’s camp and the Ligue 1 champions for several weeks.
The negotiations are believed to be progressing very positively, with an agreement considered very likely soon.
