APC PLATEAU STATE COMMENDS PRESIDENT TINUBU FOR APPROVAL OF MARARABAN JAMA’A–IBI DUAL CARRIAGEWAY
Jos, Plateau State — The All Progressives Congress (APC), Plateau State Chapter, expresses profound gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for approving the dual carriageway project linking Mararaban Jama’a to Ibi in Taraba State — a strategic road corridor that will pass through and benefit communities across Plateau and neighbouring states.
This approval marks a significant milestone for regional connectivity, economic development, and road safety. The proposed dualisation of the Mararaban Jama’a–Barkin Ladi–Mangu–Pankshin–Kanke–Langtang–Shendam–Ibi corridor will open new opportunities for trade, reduce travel time, and catalyze investments in agriculture, commerce, and tourism for residents of Plateau State and adjoining areas. It also demonstrates the federal government’s commitment to infrastructure-led growth and the welfare of Nigerians.
The APC Plateau State commends President Tinubu for his bold infrastructure vision and for approving this transformative project. We also acknowledge and thank our national and state leaders, stakeholders, and community representatives whose advocacy and collaboration have helped bring this project to the approval stage. We urge the relevant federal ministries and agencies to ensure timely, transparent, and high-quality implementation so that the people who stand to benefit most will see tangible results as soon as possible.
As a party committed to the progress and security of Plateau State, we pledge to support efforts that will ensure the successful delivery of this project and to work with federal and state authorities to safeguard communities and facilitate responsible development along the corridor.
